Descriptif de fonction

En relation directe avec le management et avec les techniciens, vous gérez l’ensemble des projets et rapportez directement au directeur général. Vous êtes responsable du chiffrage et de la gestion technique et financière des projets, tout en actant comme référent technique auprès des clients et des opérateurs.

Les domaines d’activité principaux sont :

  • Projets d’usinage regroupant plusieurs postes de travail au sein de la société : aléseuses-fraiseuses, rectifieuses, tours verticaux, centre usinage 5 axes ;
  • Projets d’usinage nécessitant une programmation importante (Mastercam) ;
  • Projets de rétrofit mécanique de machines existantes ;
  • Projets de développement de machines spéciales.

Responsabilités principales :

  • Coordination du chiffrage des nouveaux projets ;
  • Supervision des études de détails et validation des études ;
  • Gestion de l’exécution des projets d’usinage, de rétrofit et de machines spéciales ;
  • Programmation Mastercam ;
  • Suivi technique des équipes ;
  • Back-up du directeur d’usinage pour la gestion de l’atelier au quotidien ;
  • Relation client d’un point de vue technique ;
  • Responsabilité du résultat final des projets, tant d’un point de vue technique que d’un point de vue financier.

Votre profil

  • Vous avez un diplôme technique supérieur ou équivalent par expérience ;
  • Vous disposez d’une expérience démontrée en fabrication et assemblage de machines et/ou de pièces mécaniques. De plus, vous avez une connaissance de base (ou plus) en usinage et souhaitez vous développer dans ce domaine ;
  • Une connaissance en programmation (Mastercam) est un vrai plus ;
  • Vous avez d’excellentes compétences organisationnelles et fonctionnez bien dans un environnement multi projets ;
  • Vous êtes une personne de terrain et aimez mettre la main à la pâte. Vous appréciez une structure de type PME ;
  • Vous avez des affinités commerciales et disposez d’un bon sens de la négociation et de la diplomatie ;
  • Vous avez une communication ouverte et constructive. Vous parlez couramment français. Une connaissance de l’anglais technique est un atout.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution of our industrial projects worldwide, with a focus on EMEA. Our projects, varying in size between 200k to 40 million €, involve engineering, manufacturing, supply, supervision of the installation & commissioning of the plant, and in some cases include turnkey site works:

  • You are the central contact point between the client and all the internal departments involved in our HQ and within our group affiliates worldwide, as well as external vendors and subcontractors.
  • You are in charge of coordinating & leading all parties involved to reach the common goal of successful, profitable projects for all parties within the agreed deadline and to our quality standards.
  • You manage multiple projects (up to 4-5 projects in parallel) in various regions of the world, mainly EMEA.
  • You travel to clients, suppliers and group companies and take part in pre-sales negotiation meetings with clients (10% of the time).
  • You organize & lead all project interface meetings from project signature till successful start-up: Kick-off, Purchasing, Engineering, Planning, Shipping, Pre-commissioning & Start-up, Debriefing.
  • You gather technical specifications from engineering departments, approving the specs & drawings.
  • You send price inquiries to suppliers, filtering technically & commercially the quotations before finalizing purchase orders – in coordination with our purchasing department.
  • You prepare & update project planning and project progress reports.
  • You take control of project budget as sold and monitor the latest forecast revisions.
  • You tackle any commercial, legal, logistics issues with the client and act as guardian of our contractual obligations.

Your profile 

  • You are a Civil or Industrial Engineer in one of the following fields: (electro)mechanics, chemical, process, bio engineering.
  • You already have a couple of years of experience in project management, preferably in an industrial field.
  • Any international working experience is considered as real added value.
  • Excellent communication skills in an international, multicultural and multidisciplinary environment is expected.
  • You are a self-starter and have a proactive mindset. You enjoy working in a project environment where you receive autonomy and where you deal with many internal and external stakeholders.
  • You manage to keep at all times a helicopter view of the projects you are working on. You have excellent organizational skills and are able to prioritize and work according to concrete project milestones.
  • You are fluent in English. Any other language is an asset, knowledge of Russian in particular.
  • You are open for occasional short travels abroad (10% of the time).

You are in charge of the day-to-day management of the ready-mix concrete plant of Overijse. These are your main responsibilities:

  • People Management: you manage a team of 20 people on average (planners, badgers, truck drivers, lab technician…). You are responsible for all HR-related topics: recruitment, personal appraisals, work schedule, holiday planning…
  • Productivity & economic management: you make sure that the production plant runs in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. You follow up on the timely delivery of raw materials by the suppliers. You assess and plan the human and material resources that are required to reach the production targets on a daily basis.
  • Client management: you work in tandem with the Commercial Manager of your site to make sure that the production is well-aligned with the client orders. Depending on the timing of the deliveries to the construction sites of the clients, you make sure the fleet is efficiently dispatched.
  • HSE: you embody the safety culture of Holcim and make sure that all safety procedures are respected by your team, both on the plant and on the construction sites. You implement future HSE improvement plans. You are the person of reference for local communities and public authorities regarding HSE-matters.
  • Maintenance & Quality: you make sure all actions in terms of first level maintenance are taken on a daily basis, both for the production facilities and the truck fleet. For long-term maintenance and engineering projects you meet on a monthly basis with the Industrial Manager of the division. You have similar meetings with the Quality Engineer, as you are responsible for the quality of production.
  • Reporting: you make sure that all daily operations related to your staff, the production plant and the fleet are reported according to the internal processes of Holcim. You directly report to the Cluster Manager.

Your profile 

  • You hold an academic degree (Bachelor or Industrial Engineer) in a technical field such as (electro)mechanics, industrial production, automation, process technology …
  • You have several years of experience working in industrial production, ideally in a field where just-in-time production and delivery of goods is key.
  • You have solid organizational skills and like to lead by example. You are used to coach, inspire and coordinate colleagues and other stakeholders. You have the right personality and mindset to manage a team of blue collars.
  • You have a broad understanding of all aspects that need to be taken into account for running a production site: economics, supply chain, sales, maintenance, QHSE, logistics…
  • You enjoy operational management on a day-to-day basis and have a hands-on & no-nonsense approach.
  • You show resilience and flexibility in a work environment that requires anticipation, adaptability, and swift decision-taking.
  • You are an effective communicator and can fluently work in Flemish and French.

Vous êtes responsable du développement de projets éoliens en Wallonie. Vous traitez tous les aspects des projets depuis leur initiation jusqu’à leur réalisation, aussi bien d’un point de vue technique, environnemental, commercial, administratif que juridique. Voici vos principales missions :

  • Vous identifiez des zones propices au développement de nouveaux projets ;
  • Vous exécutez des études de faisabilité en tenant compte des critères environnementaux et techniques applicables ;
  • Vous négociez et obtenez des contrats fonciers avec l’équipe dédiée à cette démarche ;
  • Vous communiquez avec les communautés et autorités locales et régionales en vue de favoriser l’adhésion aux projets ;
  • Vous sélectionnez et supervisez des bureaux d’études pour la rédaction des études d’incidences environnementales ;
  • Vous coordonnez des études techniques (implantation, études de productible, connexion au réseau…) avec le support des experts internes et externes ;
  • Vous gérez et suivez des demandes de permis, y compris les phases de recours éventuelles ;
  • Vous gérez le budget de développement et le rapportage associé à votre portefeuille de projets ;
  • Vous offrez votre support pour la préparation des dossiers de décision d’investissement ;
  • Vous collaborez étroitement avec vos deux collègues directes, qui sont également en charge du développement de projets éoliens en Wallonie. Vous recevez un support des équipes financière et juridique basées au siège et rapportez au Business Development Director.

Votre profil

  • Vous êtes titulaire d’un diplôme supérieur à orientation technico-économique : ingénieur industriel ou civil, bioingénieur, ingénieur de gestion ou équivalent par expérience ;
  • Vous bénéficiez d’une première expérience professionnelle de quelques années, de préférence en projets en énergies renouvelables : développeur de projets, bureau d’études, société de conseil en environnement…
  • Vous disposez de bonnes aptitudes à communiquer et créer des relations de confiance avec des interlocuteurs variés : propriétaires, agriculteurs, industriels, bureaux d’études, administrations, politique, …
  • Vous avez un sens commercial et de bonnes capacités de négociation ;
  • Vous êtes capable de vous investir dans un travail de longue haleine, sans jamais perdre de vue les résultats finaux ;
  • Vous êtes flexible, autonome, organisé.e et aimez prendre des initiatives, ce qui vous permet de gérer plusieurs projets en parallèle ;
  • Vous avez une bonne connaissance de MS Office et connaissez les outils GIS ;

Planning Coordinator Metro Line 3 Project

Job content

The construction of the new Metro Line 3 is STIB/MIVB’s largest and most ambitious infrastructure project of the upcoming years. Within this complex project, you are dedicated to the section around Midi station, where a new metro station will be built and the current tram tunnel is being adapted to metro traffic. For this technically challenging project, these are your main responsibilities:

  • You establish the global planning and define the deadlines for all the project phases: design, technical decisions, execution, testing and commissioning of the work packages.
  • You integrate all the project activities within the planning by closely working with the Technical Integrator and with the Work Package Managers who represent the 16 technical disciplines at stake on the project: from civil works to energy supply over signalling, building techniques, ICT, etc.
  • You follow up on the production of the design documents, while taking into account the deadlines and by anticipating potential delays and risks.
  • At every step of the project, you are in charge of controlling whether the project is going according to plan. To do so, you create the inventory and permanently update the technical, administrative and staff constraints and formalities that impact the execution of the project.
  • You make sure to translate the planning into a comprehensible and efficient schedule for all internal and external stakeholders involved, such as public administration, engineering companies, contractors, service providers…
  • You report to the Project Manager and the Planning Manager within a matrix structure. You keep them updated about potential delays or planning conflicts and anticipate these issues by proposing viable solutions.

Your profile 

  • You have a Master’s degree in a technical field and have a multidisciplinary approach.
  • You have concrete experience in planning complex technical construction projects, whether in civil works or in other industries involving a broad range of work packages.
  • You have thorough skills in project planning methodologies and are familiar with project planning software & tools.
  • You are proactive in your way of working and are able to challenge in a constructive and neutral way internal and external stakeholders at every step of the project.
  • You are professionally proficient in French. Knowledge of Flemish is a real asset.
