Job content

  • Strategy: combining both account management and new business development, you work out an annual organizational sales plan dedicated to SaaS. Once the plan is confirmed, you have the freedom to undertake all actions in order achieve the objectives both on the short and long term.
  • Client Relationship: you act as a true ambassador of SCIA and live up to the top-quality standards of a company renowned for its excellent retention rate.  To further develop long-term client relationships, you meet face-to-face with your clients on a regular base.
  • Synergy: besides the SCIA technology you also introduce the software solutions of Frilo and Allplan to your clients. This way, you give your clients the opportunity to benefit from a complete 2D/3D-software package that can address all their needs in structural engineering.
  • Approach: with the support of Customer Service colleagues, you give convincing technical sales presentations to engineers, technical directors & high-level executives. You are capable of providing the clients with a higher and differentiating value proposition. You make sure that the information shared with the clients is always comprehensive and up to date. At the same time, you ensure a thorough follow-up of your clients thanks to a daily use of the CRM system.
  • Teamwork: while enjoying plenty of autonomy in your role, you closely work with your colleagues in the HQ. You receive the support of the Inside Sales team (prospection & cold calling), the Marketing team (targeted campaigns & lead generation) and the Customer Service team (demo’s & technical presentations to the clients). Your profile 

  • You have a successful track-record in a B2B-sales role, ideally combining account management and business development. You excel in creating long-lasting and personal relationships with your clients.
  • You have strong interest in offering high-value software solutions to your clients. Experience in SaaS is a real plus. This can be for any kind of software in engineering, CRM, ERP, etc.
  • Forecasting and the systematic use of CRM play a crucial role in the way you conduct your business.
  • You appreciate a flexible and agile environment, where short-line communication, continuous feedback and a no-nonsense mentality are part of the company culture.
  • You permanently have an eye for improving sales processes.
  • You enjoy a role with a wide range of autonomy. You are open to combining home office with frequent visits to clients, fairs and other networking events.

You are a member of the Sales team (currently 4 people) in charge of the Cement business in Belgium, which represents a yearly turnover of €185 million. These are your main responsibilities:

  • You maintain and develop long-term relationships with your portfolio of clients, namely (prefab) concrete producers and construction companies. At the same time, you expand your portfolio through new business development.
  • Thanks to your networking endeavors, you source tenders for new construction projects, especially for large public infrastructure projects.
  • Together with the Sales Manager for Belgium, you establish a yearly sales plan, depending on volume and price. Based on this plan, you take the lead in presenting technical-commercial offers to the clients.
  • You develop and implement a sales strategy that is solution & service oriented. To achieve this goal, you work in close collaboration with other teams of the division: Product Management, Production, Logistics, Marketing, Quality and Technical Support.
  • You bear full financial responsibility for the orders placed by your clients: margin, profitability, risk management, invoicing, payment follow-up

Your profile 

  • You hold an academic degree or equivalent by experience.
  • You have several years of sales experience, ideally related to the construction industry and building materials. Experience in industries such as chemicals is relevant as well.

Project Leader en Solaire & Eolien

Descriptif de fonction

Vous jouez un rôle-clé dans les différentes phases des projets photovoltaïques et éoliens : acquisition, développement, conception, construction et exploitation :

Projets en acquisition

  • Vous analysez la qualité technique des projets au vu des documents présentés par le vendeur : études, contrats, documents de due diligence…
  • Vous estimez les hypothèses de CAPEX, OPEX, productible… à prendre en compte ;
  • Vous proposez des optimisations techniques pour les projets et chiffrez les gains et coûts associés ;
  • Vous participez avec l’équipe Mergers & Acquisitions à la rédaction des offres d’acquisition.

Projets en développement & conception

  • Vous participez à la conception des projets et réalisez des implantations techniques préliminaires en prenant en compte les contraintes réglementaires, techniques, administratives et, dans certains cas, agricoles (pour les projets agrivoltaïques) ;
  • Vous réalisez les business plans des projets, en tenant compte des coûts et des délais, et peaufinez les estimations internes de productible pour les projets, notamment avec l’outil PVsyst pour le solaire ;
  • Vous supportez les équipes locales de développement sur les aspects techniques des dossiers d’obtention des autorisations administratives pour les projets ;
  • Vous consultez et supervisez les bureaux d’études techniques externes ;
  • Vous consultez les fournisseurs de matériel (modules PV, onduleurs, trackers et éoliennes) pour obtenir des offres de prix et tenir à jour une veille technologique des équipements disponibles sur le marché ;
  • Vous participez aux négociations des contrats d’achats de matériel et de travaux, de maintenance, d’assistance à maîtrise d’ouvrage et de gestion technique des installations ;
  • Vous gérez les demandes de raccordement au réseau.

Projets en construction & exploitation

  • Vous assurez le suivi (budget, planning,…) des chantiers en phase de construction, en collaboration avec l’entreprise externe mandatée pour l’assistance à maîtrise d’ouvrage ;
  • Vous garantissez le suivi des parcs en exploitation, en collaboration avec l’entreprise externe mandatée pour la gestion technique ;
  • Vous fournissez les données techniques nécessaires à l’équipe administrative et financière pour le rapportage.

Votre profil

  • Vous êtes titulaire d’un diplôme de Master, de préférence en ingénierie ;
  • Vous avez une première expérience dans le développement et la conception de projets en énergies renouvelables ;
  • Vous êtes multidisciplinaire : vous savez analyser et combiner les enjeux techniques, économiques et contractuels des projets ;
  • Vous êtes capable de gérer différents prestataires externes, à chaque phase des projets.
  • Vous faites preuve d’un état d’esprit entreprenant, proactif et autonome ;
  • Vous pratiquez couramment le français et avez de bonnes bases en anglais technique ;
  • Vous êtes ouvert⸱e à des déplacements courts en Europe (1 à 3 jours/mois).

Site & Operations Manager Tram Signaling

Job content

You are part of the Competence Center of STIB/MIVB dedicated to the signaling systems of the tram network. Your mission is to define and implement the technical and operational governance of the construction sites related to the installation and commissioning of these systems. You contribute to the strategic vision for the signaling systems, in line with the company’s current and future requirements:

  • You manage a team of 4 Site Supervisors. You define the daily tasks of each team member per site, in line with the company’s best practices. You are personally in charge of a limited number of construction sites.
  • You define a planning of all the site activities and define the backups, to guarantee a continuity of work.
  • You guarantee an efficient collaboration with the other teams of the Competence Center, namely Engineering and Project Management. You also supervise the activities of the contractors.
  • You define a 3-year roadmap for continuous improvement on all levels: technical reference documents, long-term planning, equipment management, internal processes…
  • You develop a learning & development program, to improve the competences of the team in terms of automation, electronics & IT systems.
  • Together with Procurement, you are involved in negotiating and managing framework agreements related to the installation and commissioning of signaling systems.
  • You manage the storage of equipment for the signaling projects and make sure subcontractors can access them.
  • You report to the Head of the Competence Center.

Your profile 

  • You hold a higher technical degree in electromechanics, automation, electronics or IT.
  • You have concrete experience in a similar role, related to automation systems in a complex and multidisciplinary project environment: railway, public infrastructure, energy, industry…
  • You have experience as people manager/team leader. You are assertive and a decision-maker.
  • You are dynamic and intrapreneurial. You have a can-do attitude.
  • You combine solid skills in macro management with a hands-on approach.
  • You enjoy a fast-paced work environment with a permanent eye for improvement.

Project Manager in International Industrial Projects

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution of our industrial projects worldwide, with a focus on EMEA. Our projects, varying in size between 200k to 40 million €, involve engineering, manufacturing, supply, supervision of the installation & commissioning of the plant, and in some cases include turnkey site works:

  • You are the central contact point between the client and all the internal departments involved in our HQ and within our group affiliates worldwide, as well as external vendors and subcontractors.
  • You are in charge of coordinating & leading all parties involved to reach the common goal of successful, profitable projects for all parties within the agreed deadline and to our quality standards.
  • You manage multiple projects (up to 4-5 projects in parallel) in various regions of the world, mainly EMEA.
  • You travel to clients, suppliers and group companies and take part in pre-sales negotiation meetings with clients (10% of the time).
  • You organize & lead all project interface meetings from project signature till successful start-up: Kick-off, Purchasing, Engineering, Planning, Shipping, Pre-commissioning & Start-up, Debriefing.
  • You gather technical specifications from engineering departments, approving the specs & drawings.
  • You send price inquiries to suppliers, filtering technically & commercially the quotations before finalizing purchase orders – in coordination with our purchasing department.
  • You prepare & update project planning and project progress reports.
  • You take control of project budget as sold and monitor the latest forecast revisions.
  • You tackle any commercial, legal, logistics issues with the client and act as guardian of our contractual obligations.

Your profile 

  • You are a Civil or Industrial Engineer in one of the following fields: (electro)mechanics, chemical, process, bio engineering.
  • You already have a couple of years of experience in a project environment related to engineering, preferably in an industrial field.
  • Any international working experience is considered as real added value.
  • Excellent communication skills in an international, multicultural and multidisciplinary environment is expected.
  • You are a self-starter and have a proactive mindset. You enjoy working in a project environment where you receive autonomy and where you deal with many internal and external stakeholders.
  • You manage to keep at all times a helicopter view of the projects you are working on. You have excellent organizational skills and are able to prioritize and work according to concrete project milestones.
  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French is a real plus, any extra language is an asset.
  • You are open to occasional short travels abroad (10% of the time).
