In deze rol coördineer je op zelfstandige en efficiënte wijze de projecten van je eigen multidisciplinaire team. Dit houdt in dat je:

  • De Unit Milieu Management Vlaanderen binnen Tauw verder uitbreidt;
  • Het commercieel beleid uitdraagt en zorgt voor een optimaal klantencontact binnen je team;
  • De behoeften van de klant mee weet te vertalen in een concurrentieel concept: je kan de scope van het project vastleggen en richting geven aan de technische oplossing en probleemoplossend meedenken
  • De high-level planning bepaalt en de eindverantwoordelijkheid draagt over de projecten die lopen in het team;
  • Nauw betrokken bent bij lopende projecten en zelf een aantal sleutelprojecten realiseert;
  • Ervoor zorgt dat projecten binnen budget en vooropgestelde timing gerealiseerd worden (kwaliteitsborging, planning, budget- en uren opvolging, facturatie, verslaggeving, technische briefwisseling, opvolging klant, …)
  • Functioneel leiding geeft aan een team van projectmedewerkers waarbij opvolging, begeleiding, sturing, motivatie, feedback en evaluatie kernwaarden zijn
  • Kennisontwikkeling en kennisverbreding binnen je eigen team actief stimuleert
  • Samenwerkingsverbanden binnen Tauw tot stand brengt, bijdraagt tot een positief werkklimaat en er mee voor zorgt de groepsdoelen te bereiken;
  • Samen met de andere Projectmanagers, waakt over de afdelingsobjectieven en rechtstreeks rapporteert aan de Operationeel Directeur.
  • Deel uitmaakt van het Leadership Team van Tauw België.

Jouw profiel :

  • Je hebt hogere studies afgewerkt in een milieurichting, natuurwetenschappen of bio-engineering;
  • Je beschikt bij voorkeur over het certificaat Milieucoördinator A;
  • Je hebt reeds meerdere jaren ervaring in het ontwikkelen en leiden van projecten in milieumanagement, in verschillende industriële sectoren;
  • Je hebt de nodige commerciële voeling en marktkennis om duurzame klantenrelaties op te bouwen en verder te ontwikkelen;
  • Je bent in staat om ervoor te zorgen dat jouw projecten, alsook die van jouw team op kwaliteitsvolle manier afgeleverd worden, binnen een vooropgesteld budget en timing;
  • Je hebt reeds ervaring in en/of hebt interesse om een team milieu-experts te coachen en verder uit te bouwen;
  • CARE-CONNECT-IMPROVE: je kan je terugvinden in deze kernwaarden van Tauw;
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van het Frans is absoluut een pluspunt.

In this role, you lead the Business Development Department, currently counting 20 members working in Belgium and abroad. Your main aim is to successfully implement a value creating growth strategy for the company. These are your key responsibilities:

  • Thanks to your in-depth understanding of the renewable energy market, you work out long-term business development strategies, in line with the vision of the Board of Directors. The focus is set on developing own projects from scratch, M&A projects being more secondary;
  • You take ownership of global project development, by preparing and coordinating the implementation of business plans in new and existing markets;
  • To make to happen, you actively guide and motivate the members of your team, with whom you develop a relationship built on trust and proximity;
  • At the same time, you collaborate closely and align with other members of the management team, representing the key departments of the company, being the Finance, Legal, Construction, Operations and Sales departments;
  • You develop strategic partnerships with public and/or private actors in the European renewable energy market;
  • You drive increased revenue and profit, through the successful finalisation of projects, to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth strategy;
  • You report to the CEO.

Your profile:

  • You hold a degree in one of following fields: Business Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Law, Engineering;
  • You have at least 10 years of experience developing long-term projects from A to Z, including managing complex permitting cycles and building partnerships with public and private stakeholders;
  • You have built this project experience in renewable energy (ideally), power industry, public infrastructure construction projects and/or real estate projects. Preferably, you also have international experience on such projects;
  • You have a proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads. You have sound analytical skills that enable you to evaluate the potential ROI of future projects;
  • Proven people management skills: you are able to create a genuine team spirit among colleagues who work from different countries. You enjoy making your team members better by positively coaching them and giving them a sense of confidence, both in themselves and in you;
  • Soft skills: a self-motivated, energetic and creative thinker with high business ethics and standards, as well as an articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of private and public organizations;
  • You are fluent in English and are professionally proficient in French. Knowledge of Flemish is highly appreciated.

As a Customer Service Engineer you will be part of a team composed of passionate structural engineers who strive to support in the best possible way the clients of SCIA, through tailor-made advice and technical solutions. You will mainly work for clients in Belgium, The Netherlands and the UK. You will become an expert of our software while providing technical support, training, product presentations and demonstrations to our clients. These will be your main responsibilities:

  • Liaise by phone or mail with our customers about specific technical issues related to our software and structural engineering in general;
  • Develop tailor-made and thorough solutions for the customers;
  • Perform hand calculations in order to proof the correctness of the calculations;
  • Give trainings:
    • In-house or at the customer site;
    • Basic, detailed and theoretical trainings about calculating reinforcement, performing a steel code check, …
    • Custom-made trainings;
  • Give presentations:
    • At events about new features, product improvements, …
    • In support of the commercial team through product demonstrations;
    • Webinars about special features within SCIA Engineer;
  • Consultancy for our customers about all kinds of CAD or BIM projects;
  • Assist the product development team by transferring customer demands, bugs and make some suggestions about new features.

Your profile :

  • You have a Master in Construction/Civil/Structural Engineering;
  • You preferably have a first experience preferably working for an engineering company/design office in AEC industry;
  • You have good theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of structural engineering. You have good notions of Eurocodes;
  • You are used to work with structural analysis software. Knowledge of SCIA is a plus, but not a must;
  • You are keen on developing your technical expertise, while having a customer-oriented approach;
  • You have good communication skills, both oral and written;
  • You can fluently work in both Flemish and English;
  • In normal times, you are open to travel for short trips in Belgium and The Netherlands for about 20% of the time.
